You need to setup sufficient fields to ensure that all records required in Word are setup or retrieved. The cells will contain sufficient formulas to extract the relevant records from the Data sheet using the Data validation on the Control Sheet. Row 2: Has a list of the records which will be transferred to Word. Row 1: Has a list of field names, These will be used in Word later so use something meaningful. The Produce Word Report button is linked to the MergeMe VBA subroutine. You can make yours as simple or as complex as you need to extract the data from your data source. In the example above there is simply a Data Validation cell which is linked to a list of shipment numbers and a Button to run the reports VBA subroutine. It can be as simple or as complex as you need to make it. The control sheet is a simple data validation or selection tool and a button which will run a macro.

This tutorial will only be using the 2007/10 files as examples but feel free to follow along if you are using previous versions. This process will be explained step by step with the help of a worked example: 2007/10 Sample or 1997/03 Sample + A Word file (to be used as a template, not to be confused with a Word template) In these cases although you may be able to setup an Excel file to look exactly like its Word equivalent. Some organisations will only accept files in Word format and may have specific formats which are used internationally (International shipping I’m looking at you!) I'm baffled, the problem seems to be with Word and pdf documents, but not all of the documents have problems. I printed page from two other Word documents that I printed before the problem occurred and they printed with streaks on the new print. I printed a txt document from a text editor and it printed fine.I printed a Word document that I printed before this problem and the new print is just fine. I printed a page from Xcell that had text on it. The same is true for the pdf file page I printed.

Interestingly the affected areas are identical on all subsequent pages of the document. I printed a page from Adobe Acrobat and it also printed with some of the lines partially missing but not nearly as many as the Word documents.On successive pages in the Word document the affected lines are in different areas and randomly spaced. If I print a different document the affected lines or located in a different area. Interestingly they are identical in both copies. I did a print head alignment and then printed one of the documents that I had printed before. I ran a nozzle check and the pattern was perfect. In the affected lines generally the middle or bottom of the text is blank so I have the top half of the line or the top and bottom of the line but no middle. Sometimes it's the whole line, mostly a portion of the line. I printed a document in Word and it printed ok, two or three hours later I printed another document and it appears every fifth line prints with some or all of the text not completely printing. My MX922 was printing just fine a couple of days ago.
